Plain-language summary: use WageSignals to understand your own pay. Do not use it to extract data in bulk, overload the service, get around its protections or pass off an estimate as an official document.

1. What is not allowed

Using bots, scripts or other automated means to make bulk queries or copy the content or results of the service.

Overloading or interfering with the service, getting around usage limits or security measures, or probing for vulnerabilities without our written permission.

Decompiling or attempting to reconstruct the calculation engine, or reselling the service or its results.

Presenting a WageSignals estimate as a pay stub, proof of income or any official document, or using it to mislead a third party.

Entering another person's data without their permission, or using the service for anything illegal.

2. What we may do

We may limit the number of requests, block automated access and suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where the case allows, we will give notice first.

3. Reporting a security problem

If you find a security flaw, we appreciate you telling us through the contact form before making it public, so we can fix it.
