Privacy Policy
Updated Oct 9, 2026
Plain-language summary: you do not need an account to calculate your paycheck and we do not store what you type. We never ask for your SSN, ITIN or immigration status. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising or use it to train AI models. If you create an account, we store only what you choose to save and you can export or delete it.

1. Who we are and what this covers

WageSignals is a service of Prime Move Group LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company in the United States (“WageSignals”, “we”, “us”). This policy describes how we process personal information that we collect through wagesignals.com and the services that link to this policy (the “Service”).

Notice at collection and state privacy rights: sections 12 to 14 contain the information required by the privacy laws of California and other states, including the categories of data we collect and how to exercise your rights.

2. Personal information we collect

Information you provide to us:

• Estimate inputs (financial data): hourly rate or salary, hours, pay frequency, state and, where the tax depends on it, your county. They are sent to our servers to run the calculation and the answer is returned to your browser. If you do not have an account, we do not store them. Those same inputs travel in the address (URL) of the result page; if you share that link, whoever receives it will see the figures.

• Contact and profile data: if you create an account, your email address, your password (we store only a one-way cryptographic hash, never the password itself) and the preferences you set (language, state, any tax profile you decide to save).

• Content you save: estimates, jobs, shifts and other data you choose to save in your account.

• Communications: what you write to us when you ask for help or send feedback.

• Transactional data: plan purchased, charge dates and receipt history.

Information from third parties:

• Sign-in with Google: if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive the name and email associated with your Google account, based on that account's settings.

• Payment processor: Stripe tells us your subscription status and limited payment details (for example, the last four digits and card brand). We never receive the full number.

Information collected automatically:

• Device data: browser and operating system type and version, device type, language settings, IP address and approximate general location derived from the IP (state or region).

• Online activity data: pages requested, access dates and times, and errors. If you accept analytics, also aggregate usage events (for example, at which step people leave the calculator), without your amounts or your address.

We do not combine your data with information bought from data providers or obtained from social networks.

3. What we never ask for

We do not ask for your Social Security number (SSN), ITIN, other government identification numbers, immigration status, bank credentials or access to your payroll account. No WageSignals feature needs them. If someone asks for them in our name, it is not us. We do not collect your precise location.

4. How we use your personal information

Service delivery and operations: to calculate and show your estimate; create and maintain your account; store what you choose to save; bill and manage your subscription; send you Service notices (security, changes, receipts, reminders you turn on); and provide support.

Personalization: to remember your selections and preferences, such as language or state.

Improvement and analytics: if you accept it, to analyze in aggregate how the Service is used in order to improve it. See the Cookie Notice.

Compliance and protection: to comply with the law and valid legal process; protect our rights, your safety and that of others; enforce our terms; and prevent, identify and investigate fraud, abuse, unauthorized access and attacks.

Aggregated or de-identified data: we may create aggregated or de-identified data from personal information (for example, how many estimates are run per state) and use it to improve the Service. We do not attempt to re-identify that data.

Further uses: if we wanted to use your information for a purpose incompatible with the ones above, we will ask for your permission first.

What we do not do: we do not use your information for targeted advertising, we do not send marketing communications without your permission, we do not make automated decisions with legal or similar effects on you and we do not use your information to train artificial intelligence models.

5. How we share your personal information

Service providers: companies that provide hosting, database, network, security, email and support services to us, and who may use the data only to provide that service. The list is in “Subprocessors”.

Payment processor: your card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe, which may use them in accordance with its own privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy).

Linked third-party services: if you sign in with Google, Google will know you signed in to WageSignals; its use of that information is governed by its privacy policy and your Google account settings.

Professional advisors: lawyers, auditors and insurers, in the course of the services they render to us.

Authorities and others: law enforcement, government authorities and private parties where we believe in good faith it is necessary for the compliance and protection purposes described above.

Business transfers: in an actual or prospective sale, merger, financing, acquisition or insolvency proceeding, personal information may be disclosed to the counterparty and its advisers, and transferred as part of the assets, under commitments equivalent to this policy.

Third parties designated by you: when you instruct us or give your consent.

We do not sell your personal information or share it with advertising partners.

6. Retention

Estimates made without an account are not stored. Account data is kept while the account exists. We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, including to satisfy legal, accounting or tax requirements, defend against claims and prevent fraud. To set that period we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of the data, the risk of harm from unauthorized use and the applicable legal requirements.

When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymize it. What you delete is removed from our primary systems and leaves our backups as they are replaced in their normal cycle.

7. Your choices

Access or update your information: with an account you can review and change your details by signing in.

Delete your content or close your account: you can delete what you saved and close your account under “Privacy and data”, or ask through the contact form.

Communications: you can unsubscribe from any non-essential email with the link it includes. We will still send necessary Service notices, such as security alerts or receipts.

Cookies: see the Cookie Notice for what we use and how to change your choice.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: we do not respond to the “Do Not Track” signal, because there is no common standard for interpreting it. We do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends it, we keep any optional use of your data turned off.

Declining to provide information: you can use the calculator without an account. Some features need certain data (for example, an email to create the account); if you do not provide it, we will not be able to offer them.

Linked platforms: if you sign in with Google, you can limit what we receive in your Google account settings. Revoking that access does not affect what we already received.

8. Other sites and services

The Service may link to third-party sites, such as the official source of each tax rule or Stripe's payment page. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their practices; we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

9. Security

We employ technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information: encrypted connections, restricted access, separation between each user's data and review of changes. However, no system on the internet is completely secure and we cannot guarantee the security of your information. If we detect an incident affecting your data, we will notify you as the law requires.

10. Where data is processed

We are based in the United States and the Service is designed for people working in the United States. Your information is processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

11. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has given us information in a manner prohibited by law, contact us and we will delete it as the law requires.

12. State privacy rights

This section applies to residents of states whose privacy laws apply to us and grant these rights (for example, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, Montana or Utah). These rights are not absolute and some states do not provide all of them; we may decline a request where the law permits.

• Information: to know which categories of personal information we collect, from which sources, for which purposes and with which categories of third parties we share it.

• Access and portability: to receive a copy of your personal information.

• Correction: to ask us to correct inaccurate information.

• Deletion: to ask us to delete your personal information.

• Appeal: to appeal our decision if we deny your request; we will explain how in our response.

• Nondiscrimination: you will not be treated worse for exercising your rights.

Opt-outs: we do not process your personal information for targeted advertising; we do not sell your personal information within the meaning of these laws, or “share” it for advertising based on your behavior on other sites; and we do not engage in profiling or automated decision-making with significant effects on finances, housing, education, employment, health care or criminal justice. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request.

Sensitive personal information: we do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information or use it to infer characteristics about you.

Consumers under 16: we do not have actual knowledge that we collect, sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

How to exercise your rights: from your account, under “Privacy and data”, or through the contact form on wagesignals.com or by mail to Prime Move Group LLC, 407 Lincoln Road, Ste 12N, Miami Beach, FL 33139. To protect your information we will verify your identity, usually by confirming that you control the account's email; if we cannot verify it, we will not be able to act on the request. Where the law allows it, you may designate an authorized agent to make the request for you; we will ask for proof of your authorization and may also verify your identity.

Authorized agents: where the law allows, another person may submit the request on your behalf. We may ask them for a valid power of attorney or your signed permission, and ask you to confirm your identity and the authorization.

13. Notice for California residents

This describes our practices currently and during the past 12 months, using the categories of California law (CCPA, Cal. Civ. Code §1798.140). In no case do we “sell” or “share” these categories.

• Identifiers (email address, IP address, name if you sign in with Google). Purposes: providing the Service, security, support. Disclosed to: service providers.

• Customer records and commercial information (plan, charge history, last four card digits). Purposes: billing and subscription management. Disclosed to: payment processor and service providers.

• Professional or employment-related and financial information that you enter (rate, salary, hours, state). Purposes: calculating your estimate and storing what you choose. Disclosed to: service providers, only if you save it in your account.

• Internet activity (pages requested, errors and, if you accept it, usage events). Purposes: operations, security and improvement. Disclosed to: service providers.

• Approximate geolocation data derived from IP. Purposes: security and abuse prevention. Disclosed to: service providers.

Sources: you, your device, Google if you use it to sign in, and Stripe. Retention: under the criteria in section 6.

“Shine the Light” law (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.83): we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

14. Notice for Nevada residents

Nevada residents have the right to ask that certain personal information not be sold. We do not engage in such sales; if you would still like to record your request, you can do so through the contact form.

15. Changes to this policy

We may modify this policy. If the change is material, we will update the date above and give notice on the Service or by email if you have an account. Changes take effect when posted or on the date indicated.
