Plain-language summary: calculating your paycheck is free. Paid plans (Plus and Household) are optional, renew automatically until you cancel and can be cancelled from your account with no call or email. Before paying you always see the price, the taxes and how often it renews.

1. Free and paid

Calculating your paycheck and seeing the full breakdown is free and does not require a card. Paid plans add features for tracking your pay week by week. What each plan includes and its price are shown on the pricing page and in the summary before payment.

On a paid plan you can add extras (additional jobs and, on Household, additional people). Extras are part of the same subscription: they renew with it, when you add them, the pro rata amount up to your next renewal is charged right then, and you can remove them at any time from your account (removing them does not refund what was already paid). The free plan does not allow extras.

2. Trial period

When a 7-day Plus preview is offered, we do not ask for a card. When it ends, your account returns to the free plan with no charge.

3. Charges and renewal

Payment happens on a page hosted by Stripe. Stripe, through its Link service, acts as the authorized seller of the subscription (merchant of record): it charges the payment, issues the receipt and calculates, collects and remits the applicable taxes. Your card statement may show the name Stripe or Link next to WageSignals, and the purchase is also subject to the Stripe terms shown at checkout.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (monthly or annual, as you choose) and is charged to the payment method you provided, until you cancel. On annual plans you will receive an email reminder before each renewal.

Prices are shown before tax. The sales tax or VAT that applies to your location is added to the price and itemized before you pay.

4. Price changes

If we change the price of your plan, we will tell you by email at least 30 days in advance and the new price will apply from your next renewal. If you do not agree, you can cancel before that date.

5. If a payment fails

We will let you know, keep your plan active during a grace period and retry the charge. If it is not resolved, your account moves to the free plan. We do not delete your data because of a failed payment.

6. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from “My account”, in the “Subscription” section. Before confirming you will see the date the cancellation takes effect and what changes. The details are in “Cancellation and refunds”.
